Questions directors ask.
Can we keep our phone number?
Yes. Calls forward from your existing lines, so families keep calling the number they already know. You do not need new phone equipment.
Can we choose who gets called?
Yes. During setup we build your on-call schedule with you: who is alerted first, who is the backup, and how alerts reach them by text and email.
What happens if a call needs urgent attention?
eterni Night Guard alerts your on-call director by text and email. With escalation turned on, a first call or service inquiry that is not acknowledged moves from your first director to your backup, up to three levels, then to your owner. Your funeral home sets how long each level waits, for example 60 minutes.
What does it say when a family asks about prices?
eterni Night Guard shares only the prices your funeral home publishes on its own website. Otherwise, it recommends speaking with a funeral director.
What does the included eterni Livery cover?
eterni Livery is included for the life of your subscription and covers your funeral home’s own cases. Livery work your funeral home does for others is not included.
Will the service sound like our funeral home?
Calls are answered in your funeral home’s name with your own greeting and voice. During onboarding we learn your services, hours, and how you like families to be spoken to.
How long does setup take?
Many teams are live in about a week. Onboarding, configuration, voice training, and launch support are part of getting started.
