1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, business information, and payment details when you create an account or subscribe to Eterni. We also collect call transcripts and audio recordings processed through our AI voice system on behalf of your funeral home.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Eterni service, process payments, send service notifications and call summaries to your designated directors, and communicate about your account. We do not sell your personal information or call data to third parties.
3. Call Data and HIPAA
Eterni may process calls that contain Protected Health Information (PHI) on behalf of funeral homes. We act as a Business Associate under HIPAA and enter into Business Associate Agreements (BAA) with applicable customers. Call transcripts and recordings are stored securely and access is limited to authorized personnel and the funeral home account.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Eterni: ElevenLabs (AI voice processing), Twilio (telephony), Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (data storage), and Resend (transactional email). Each provider has its own privacy policy and security standards. We select partners who meet our security requirements.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for the duration of your subscription and up to 90 days after cancellation. Call transcripts and recordings are retained according to your plan settings and applicable legal requirements. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and role-based access controls. Payment information is processed directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
7. Your Rights
